- Submit the mandatory IMUGA Traveller Declaration online at imuga.immigration.gov.mv within 96 hours before arrival
- Passport must have a Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) and at least 1 month's validity (6 months strongly recommended)
- Show a confirmed return/onward ticket, a prepaid confirmed hotel/resort booking, and proof of sufficient funds for the stay
- Entry is not granted on Israeli passports (Maldives Immigration, effective 15 April 2025) — irrelevant to Indian passports but shown as a current entry condition
